The Town of New Fairfield is accepting applications to the Town’s Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program. Funding for this program originated from previous grants awarded to the Town from the Department of Housing Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program. Currently the Town is utilizing program income generated from the repayment of prior loans made to former participants in the program. The program allows eligible low and moderate income property owners to receive 0% interest loans to make needed health and safety improvements to their homes with no out-of-pocket expense. Applications are being accepted on a first come first serve basis.
