The Town of New Fairfield employs a part-time Engineer to provide technical expertise on an on-call basis for the following services:
• Professional Engineering services for Town Departments, agencies and various boards.
• In-house design and/or advice on Capital Improvement Projects.
• Review design of development plans for subdivision and commercial developments.
• Subdivision bond reduction and release reviews
• Road acceptance reviews.
• Evaluates services provided by Consulting Engineers.
• Provides engineering advice on major Town funded projects.
• In-house design or advice on drainage projects.
• Engineering advice with regard to resident requests as needed.
